Hier mijn bijdrage voor Sunday Poscard Art: vogels. Was eigenlijk een achtergrond aan het maken voor de maandswap met Barbara. Had ik gisteren eigenlijk te kleine crackle, na een tijdje vond ik ze toch eigen wel erg mooi en wilde er nog en maken, maar die viel helemaal anders uit en in plaats van mooie kleine crackles kreeg ik deze grote scheuren en had hem al in de doos met ongelukjes gegooid. Tot ik vandaag de uitdaging zag en ineens leek hij meer op de bast van een boom, zelfs het gat hoorde daar, wat eigenlijk ook weer een ongelukje was want ik had de heattool er te lang op gehouden waardoor de verf zichzelf opblies om na het afkoelen weer terug te zakken. Dus eigenlijk kunnen we wel zeggen: ik maak tegenwoordig niet veel fouten maar heb wel ontzettend veel gelukkige ongelukjes *LOL*.
Here my entry for Sunday Postcard Art: birds. Actually I wanted to start with my monthly swap with Barbara. Yesterday I made a background for Saterdays Workout and it took me a while before this background grew on me, but then I started to like it very much, so I wanted to make another one with those tiny cracks. Unfortunally if you want something to happen again it doesn’t happen and this background turned out much different and had big cracks. I put it away in my box with mistakes, until today when I saw the theme of Sunday Postcard and suddenly my background seemed like the bark of a tree. Even the spot where I did got my heattool to close to the paint now looks like natural birdsnest in a tree. I don’t make many misstake these days, but boy do have many happy accidents * LOL*. The text is in dutch and say’s: teach me how to fly.

Well I wish I had just a few of your mistakes in my box, mine are usually at the point where they go into the trash. The tree is fabulous and looks so real. I love how you have used the image.

Is het niet geweldig hoe dingen goed kunnen uitpakken? Vooral die ‘blob’ is een kadootje, maar je moet het wel ‘zien’ natuurlijk als zoiets gebeurd. Heel leuk kaartje
