I made this card for a contest at Arts and Things. And I won!!! On the photo the prize I won. Thank you again for this treat. And because the challenge at Saterdays Workout is be in stitches it fits perfect wihtin the theme.

Elke maand maken we voor mekaar een 4 x 4 the met thema, maar deze maand was het thema vrij. Maar omdat we allebei in mei jarig zijn leek het me wel leuk om een feesthoedje te gebruiken. En Annieta stuurde me een prachtexemplaar in mijn lievelingskleur. Every month Annieta and I made eachother a 1,6″x 1,6″ with a theme, but this month we had no theme, so I decided to make a party hat one because we have both our birthday in may. Annieta send me this gorgeous one in my favorite colour.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Layers of Color: Grand opening art party. Het is de bedoeling om iets met deurtjes te maken en een beetje feestelijk. Charm made for Jeanette

 

Jeanette en ik maken een jaar lang voor mekaar een charm, zodat we op het eind van het jaar een gave armband hebben. Deze charm heb ik gemaakt voor Jeanette voor de maand mei. Het kleine puzzelstukje is de charm, het grote de kaart om de kleine op te versturen. Jeanette and I make eachother a charm a month for a whole year and by the end of the year we will have a cool bracelet.. This charm I made for Jeanette for the month of may. The little puzzle piece is the actual charm, the larger one is to hold it to send it out.

Layers of Color: umbrellas!

 

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Layers of color: UMBRELLAS!. Gisteren was Jeanette hier en hebben we de tutorial van Sharon uitgeprobeerd, en dus eindigde ik met deze achtergrond. En kon het niet weerstaan om de tutorial van Laura uit te proberen en heb dus het parapluutje op deze manier gemaakt. Er zitten glitters op de achtergrond wat het nog meer diepte geeft, maar de scanner lust dat niet.  Here my entry for Layers of color: UMBRELLAS!. Yesterday Jeanette came over and we tried to do the tutorial from Sharon, and this is what I ended up with. Ofcourse I couldn’t resist to try the tutorial from Laura and make this litle umbrella. There are lots of glitter on the background but my scanner doesn’t pick that up, it gives the background even more depth.

Saterday’s workout: can you resist

 

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Saterday’s workout: CAN YOU RESIST. Ik heb de pluizebol gestempeld met Versamark en daarna met clear embossingpoeder geembost. De achtergrond geverfd met auqarelverf met de kleur denim en een beetje oker rond de bloem. De hand is op een apart stukje papier gestempeld en gekleurd met auqarelverf, uitgeknipt en opgeplakt. Met een witte gelpen wat stipjes gezet. het geheel gemat op wit en goud en dit weer op een kaart geplakt. Hij lijkt op de scan zwart maar in het echt is hij heel mooi diep donkerblauw.  Here my entry for Saterday’s workout: CAN YOU RESIST. I stamped the dandallion with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I painted the whole background qith water paints, the colour is called denim and around the dandallion I used a bit of oker. Then I stamped the hand on a piece of paper, coloured it with waterpaints, cut out and glued on the background. I layered it on white cardstock and then on gold cardstock. Finished it off by putting it on a square card which seems to be black on my scan but in real life it is a beautiufl deep dark blue colour.

House made for Donna

 

Dit huisje gemaakt voor Donna. Hij heeft er bjna 3 1/2 week over gedaan om daar te komen, ik dacht echt dat hij kwijt was geraakt met de post. Made this house for Donna. It travelled over 3 weeks, really thought it got lost in the mail.

Wednesday Stamper: Be Square

 

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Wednesday Stamper: Be Square. Deze doos gemaakt met behlup van de Zutter en is 12 x 12 cm. Bekleed met telefoonboekpagina’s en die vervolgens gewhitewashed met gesso. Daarna besprayd met Glimmermist en bestempeld met stempels van Hero Arts en Stampers Anonymous.. Op apart papier de jongetjes van Paperbag Studios gestempeld en die vervolgens met een inchiepons uitgeponst. Hier en dar wat kleur gegeven met kleurpotlood en de randjes met een Gold leafingpen. Here my entry for Wednesday Stamper: Be Square. I made this box with the Zutter, it measures 12 x 12 cm. First I glued phonebook pages on cardboard, whitewashed them with gesso, then sprayed with Glimmermist and stamped with Black Stazon, stamps are from Hero Arts and Stamper Anonymous. The liitle boys are from Paperbag Studios, stamped on a seprate piece of paper and punched out with an inchie punch. Coloured a little with colouring pencils and the edges with a gold leafingpen..
