Hier mijn bijdrage voor Art Creations Friday: challenge 24. Dit plaatje heb ik laatst gekocht op de verzamelbeurs. Dit achtergrondje gemaakt met het klad papier van dinsdag, zag er ineens een vlinder in. Here my entry for Art Creations Friday: challenge 24. I bought this image on a collectors fair recently. I made the background with the paper which protected my desk on tuesday, and suddenly I saw a butterfly in it.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Wednesday Stamper: oranje. Wel heel toevallig zo net voor koninginnedag want morgen zal alles wel heel oranje gekleurd zijn. Tevens dit doosje gemaakt voor de swap met An. We hadden op de beurs deze doosjes gekocht bij Jen Compen en besloten om dit onze swap te maken, maar een leeg doosje verzenden is niet half zo leuk als vullen met een handgemaakte charm.
Here my entry for Wednesday Stamper: orange. What a coincidence, tomorrow its the celebration of our Queens birthday zo everything will be coloured orange. Made this little box for An for our monthly swap. At the Art Specially event we bought those little boxes and decided this would be our swap for this month and because it is far mor fun to swap a little gift box containing a charm, we decided to make eachother a little charm.

Deze kaart gemaakt voor Ank. Kun je zien dat de inktdozen van gisteren nog steeds op mijn bureau lagen *LOL*. Eerst de meisjes (Stampinback) gestempeld met Stazon Zwart en gemaskerd, daarna de achtergrond gesponst. Hierna een sjabloon gemaakt door de swirl met de Slice uit te snijden uit een transparant sheet en deze ook gesponst. Toen de steeltjes met druppel en de crackle achtergrond gestempeld (beide van I brake voor Stamps), de tekst bedankt is van Studio Art Stamps. Het masker verwijders en de meisjes ingekleurd met aquarelverf. Als laatste wat accentjes aangebracht met een witte gelpen. Toen gemat op wit en zwart kaartkarton.
Made this card for Ank. Can you tell that the ink pads from yesterdays card where still on my desk *LOL*. First I stamped the girls (Stampingback) with Stazon Black and masked them off. Sponged the background and made a template by cutting out the swirl with the Slice out off a transparant sheet and sponged it. Then stamped the stripes with little balls and the crackle background and the text from Studio Art Stamps (it says thanks!). Then took the mask off and coloured the girls with watercolours. And to finish it off I highlighted some parts with a white gel pen. Then glued on white and black cardstock.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor TGiF: vissen en Saterdays Workout: papieren kralen. Voor een verjaardag deze kaart gemaakt. Helaas heb ik (nog) geen meltingpot, dus moest een andere manier verzinnen om de kralen te maken, heb nadat ik het papier opgerold had om het stokje het papier door de Versamark gerold en toen in de pot UTEE gestoken, daarna geheatset, dit 3 keer gedaan, daarna toen de UTEE nog een beetje zacht was, het stokje met kraal in een potje pearls gedoopt.
Here my entry for TGiF: fishes and Saterdays Workout: paper beads. Unfortunally I don’t have a meltingpot (yet), so I had to find me another way to make the beads. After rolling the paper around the wooden stick I rolled it on the Versamark pad then dipped the bead into the pot of UTEE, heatset and doing that another 2 times, and at the last layer, when still a little soft, I dipped it into the golden pearls.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Art Creations Friday: challenge 23. Heb een ATC gemaakt en het verband gebruikt wat nodig was voor de techniek van Saterdays Workout, vond het te mooi om weg te gooien. Here my entry for Art Creations Friday: challenge 23. Made an ATC and used the muslin I needed to do the technique at Saterdays Workout, I think it was to beautiful to trow away.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Artsy challenge 11. Here my entry for Artsy challenge 11.
Had eerst een scan maar deze vervangen voor deze foto omdat ik toch weer even wilde spelen met mijn draagbare fotostudio en gelijk het statief uitgetest, oh dit werkt zo gaaf. Altijd leuk om er wat decoratie omheen te leggen dus heb even tijdelijk de stenen verzameling van mijn zoontje geplunderd, vooral die fossiel vind ik erg leuk. At first I made a scan but now I replaced that with this photo, I had to play with my portable photostudio again and this works so awesome and easy. I love to decorate the surroundings so I boroughted the rock collection from my son, especially the fossil is so neat.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor TMTA: alcoholinkt op transparant sheet. Erg leuk om te doen. Heb eerst de sheet bewerkt met alochol inkt, daarna hier en daar nog wat accenten met de gold leafing pen, en toen met de post stempel (Paper Artsy) met Stazon op het sheet gestempeld, daarna afgeveegd met een keukendoekje, zodat je in plaats van een zwarte stempelafdruk weer een compleet transparante afdruk krijgt. Het plaatje is een freebie op de blog van Viola.
Here my entry for TMTA: alcohol inks on transparant foil. This was fun. Coloured the sheet with alcohol inks and then put some gold leafing pen on the felt and made some highlights. After that I stamped with Stazon Black the post stamp (Paper Artsy) on the foil and wiped off with a kitchen towel, you end up with a perfect clear image again. The image is a freebie at Viola’s blog.

Hier nog een bijdrage voor Saterdays Workout: verband. Spuitlijm was dus de oplossing, tenminste voor mij :o) Nu ik het eenmaal doorheb gaat het aanzienlijk sneller en is het ook leuk om te doen. De meisjes zijn van Zettiology, de tekst weer van het sheetje van Studio Art Stamps en de paperclips van Just for Fun. Ik haat het als de dingen niet gaan zoals ik in mijn hoofd had, dus je snapt dat ik erg blij werd van het feit dat ik toch een oplossing had gevonden. Here my second entry for Saterdays Workout: muslin. Spray glue was the answer for the problem, at least for me :o) Now I am finally got the hang of it it does work out much faster and it was fun too. The girls are from Zettiology, the text from the sheet of Studio Art Stamps and the paperclips from Just for Fun. I hate it when things don’t go the way I had in mind, so you can understand that I am very happy with the solution I finally found.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Saterdays Workout: verband. Jeetje wat heb ik zitten zweten met deze techniek, hij wilde niet zoals ik wilde. Je wilt niet weten hoeveel pogingen er in de prullebak zijn geëindigd, de inkt zal overal behalve onder het verband. Uiteindelijk besloten om het verband even te sprayen met spuitlijm en hem zo tijdelijk vast te zetten op het papier, zo kon het tenminste geen kant op, want ook Sandy’s manier ging bij mij niet. Ben niet echt tevreden, maar het was de beste poging tot nog toe. Het prachtige plaatje is een freebie van Dymphie, de Nederlandse tekst komt van het nieuwste sheetje van Studio Art Stamps.
Here my entry for Saterdays Workout: muslin. Oh boy, did I had a hard time, it didn’t work out the way I had in mind. You don’t want to know how many attempts ended up in my waste bin. Finally I decided to temporary spray glue the muslin and stick it to the paper, at least this way it stayed in place, because Sandy’s way didn’t work out with me either. I am not really satisfied but it was the best I could do. This gorgeous image is a freebie from Dymphie, the dutch text is from the newest rubber stamp sheet from Studio Art Stamps.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Make a MOO or Two: thuis is waar je hart is. Heb weer een cuttlebug achtergrondje gebruikt, hier de molen op gestempeld en dit nog wat ingekleurd, daarna dit prachtige plaatje van het meisje uitgeknipt, opgebold en verhoogd opgeplakt, het meisje daarna nog met diverse lagen UTEE ge-embost. Thuis is bij familie en vrienden, maakt niet uit waar, maar bij voorkeur wel binnen ‘s-lands grenzen, ik haat reizen. Heb onlangs bij het Kruidvat een opvouwbare foto studio gekocht en moest dit natuurlijk even uitproberen, vandaar dit tafereeltje :o)
Here my entry for Make a MOO or Two: home is where your heart is. Again I have used a piece of a cuttlebug background, stamped on the windmill and coloured it in, then I took this great image, cut out, rounded it a bit and glued with foamtape. Afterwards I gave the little girl 3 layers of UTEE. Home is where family and friends are but preferably within The Netherlands, because I hate to travel. Recently I bought this portable photo studio and I really wanted to have a go with it.

Het frame met het balkje en de tekst daarin zijn van Norsk Stempelblad en ook deze achtergrond samen met Jeanette gemaakt tijdens het spelen met de cuttlebug.
