Here another post from me as a guestdesigner for Katzelkraft. I made another Christmas card without any Christmas stamps. For more information and the text in French look at Katzelkraft blog.
step 1: cut a circle out of transparant sheet and draw a circle onto the card with PENCIL (very important to use pencil, because you have to erase the lines)
step 2: position the bird at the top onto the circle.
step 3: draw some cracks, again with pencil, to the left hand side of the circle. Take a piece of vellum and trace the cracks, this will be used as a mask, then stamp the bird on the left hand side. Remove mask. Stamp some splatters from the “So Special” sheet on both side at the bottom of the bulb.
step 4: erase the pencil lines that go through the birds and use the circle stencil you made earlier to trace over de rst of the lines with a blck fine-liner. Use the same stencil to draw the lines inside the circle. Hand draw the topper of the Christmas bulb and put some lines into some of the stripes.
step 5: Colour with Lyra watercolour crayons and a waterbrush.
Hope it gives you some inspiration of how to make a Christmas card without any Christmas stamps or drawing skills.
