Heb erg veel verjaardagen in mei, dus dit verjaardagskaartje gemaakt. De stempel klein kleutertje is van Studio Art Stamps gecombineerd met de stempels van Norsk Stempelblad (sinds kort zijn deze stempels ook verkrijgbaar bij Joan Gevaert). There are a lot of birthdays in may, so I made this brthdaycard. The stamp with the girl is from Studio Art Stamps combined with the gorgeous stamps of Norsk Stempelblad.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor de uitdaging van Wednesday Stamper: strepen. Het meisje op de voorkant en achterkant is een stempel die ik ontworpen heb voor Studio Art Stamps en is mijn petekind. De strepen zijn van Stampington en op de voorkant en achterkant van de laatjes heb ik de swirls gestmepeld van Hero Arts, helaas kun je dan niet zien op de scan. Here my entry for the challenge of Wednesday Stamper: stripes. The girl on the front and back is a stamp I designed for Studio Art Stamps and is my godchild. The stripes are from Stampington and on the front and back of the drawers I stamped the swirl from Hero Arts, unfortunally that doens’t show up on the scan.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Crazy Amigo’s: BLOEMEN. Vind dit zo leuk om te doen en zo kom je nog eens van je kleine restjes af en het mooie is dat ze qua kleur niet eens hoeven te passen. Heb een kaart volgeplakt met allemaal restjes (scrapboek)papier, daarna met de cirkel pons een cirkels uitgeponst en nog een 7 “blaadjes” met een ovaal pons. Dit in het midden geplakt. Vervolgens alles ingesmeerd met een dunne laag gesso, het mooiste is natuurlijk dat je nog steeds het patroon in het papier ziet. Dit gesponst met distress Spiced Marmelade en Aged Mahogany. In het hart met Stazon de swirls van Studio Art Stamps gestempeld en gehighlight met een witte gelpen. De bloem en het hart omrand met faux stiching, alle scheurrandjes voorzien van faux cross stiches en nog wat stippeltjes getekend in een paar vakken. Daarna stempel Marijke van Studio Art Stamps op een apart stukje papier gestempeld en ingekleurd met aquarelverf. Het geheel gemat op een zwarte dubbele kaart.
My entry for Crazy Amigo’s: FLOWERS. This is so much fun to do and it is great to use up all your scraps, fun thing is even the papers don’t have to match. I took a piece of cardstock and glued different kinds of (scrapbook) papers on it, after that I punched out the cirkel and 7 ovales. Glued this in the middle to look like a flower. Put a thin layer of gesso all over it. Then sponged with distress Spiced Marmelad and Aged Mahogany. Stamped the swirls in the center of the flower with Stazon Black and highlighted them with a white gel pen.. Then put some faux stiches around the heart of the flower and the petals. Made some faux cross stiches over the torn pieces of the papers. Put some dots in some of the spaces. Finally I stamped Marijke, which is a stamp of Studio Art Stamps also, on a piece of cardstock, cut out and painted with watercolours. Glued on the background and maat on a black card.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Mixed Media Monday: altered playing card. Ik heb hele kleintjes gebrukt en om te laten zien hoe klein ze zijn, heb ik ze ook nog gescand met een gewone maat erachter. Here my entry for Mixed Media Monday: Altered playing cards. I have used very small ones, to show how little they are I scanned them also with a regular sized one at the background.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Saterdays Workout: make it embossed. Het hele hart is geembossed met UTEE daarna in de nog warme UTEE de swirl stempel gedrukt. Here my entry for Saterdays Workout: make it embossed. The whole heart is embossed with UTEE, and the last step was to stamp the swirl stamp in the still warm and soft UTEE.

Hier mijn tweede bijdrage voor TGiF: acetate. Had niet helemaal begrepen dat we op het acetaat moesten stempelen, dus ik een tweede poging gewaagd, maar dit mevrouwtje ongeduld was iets te rigoureus met de heattool waardoor het acetate begon te schrompelen. Wilde hem eerst meteen in de prullebak gooien maar heb toch een poging gedaan om hem te redden :o)) Here my second entry for TGiF: acetate. I think I misread it a bit and at my first attempt I didn’t stamp on the acetate, now I did but I was a bit to impatient with my heattool and my acetate started to shrink OOPS!! my first reaction was to throw it away but not before I gave it a try to safe it. And this is how I ended up.

Hier mijn bijdrage voor TGiF: acetate. Heb een stuk sheet dubbel gevouwen als achtergrondkaart. Daarna het meisje van paper Whimsy getransferred op het acetaat zodat een deel alsnog transparant bleef, de rest rondom versierd met mooi papier, zelf gekleurd papier en embellisments. Here my entry for TGiF: acetate. I folded a piece of acetate to create a background card. Then I transferred the girl from Paper Whimsy on the acetate, still wanted some of the background be transparant. Surrounded it with beautiful papers, stamped frame, self coloured paper and embellisments.

Dit prachtig ATC sterboek ontvangen van Chris, wij deden allebei mee aan One world-one heart en toen heb ik gewonnen. En alsof dat niet genoeg was zaten er ook al 2 prachtige ATC’s in. Nogmaals DANK JE WEL. This gorgeous ATC starbook is made by Chris. We both joined one world-one heart and I was one of the winners on Chris’ blog. And if that wasn’t enough it contained 2 gorgeous ATC’s. Thank you again Chris.

Vandaag viel al de prijs binnen die ik had gewonnen bij TGiF. Wat een verwennerij en alsof de prijs niet genoeg was zat er deze schitterende kaart bij van Sandy. Dank je wel Sandy. Today arrived the prize I won at TGiF, that was really fast. A goodybag full will great stuff to work with, and if that wasn’t enough I received this gorgeous card from Sandy. You made my day, thank you Sandy.
