Als jullie denken: wat doet ze toch allemaal met die muizenvalletjes, nou simpel: weggeven als kleine kadootjes. Van al de muizenvallen die ik inmiddels gemaakt heb, heb ik alleen de eerste met het hermelijntje nog over.

nu een voor mijn zwart/witte lintjes/and now one for my black/white ribbons

Dit dubbele wijnkistje kreeg ik dus ook van mijn schoonzus en besloten hier mijn zwart/witte lintjes in te bewaren, zoals je ook al kunt zien bij mijn washi tapes, zwart/wit is toch wel mijn favoriet ook in lintjes. Het prachtige plaatje van de circusbeer is van The Graphics Fairy, helaas kan ik niet meer achterhalen van wie het plaatje van de jongen komt.

And this double wooden winebox was also a gift from my sister in law and I decided to use it for my black and white ribbons, as you can see in my washi tape box, I really do love the black and white ones. The gorgeous image from the circusbear is from The Graphics Fairy, unfortunally I don’t know anymore who provided the image of the boy.

Tijdens mijn verjaardag waren mijn schoonbroer en schoonzusje op vakantie en afgelopen zaterdag hebben we een gezellig avondje gepland om het een beetje in te halen, buiten een dubbele wijnbox en vlooienmarktvondsten vwb kraaltjes had mijn schoonzusje ook deze atributen voor mij gevonden. Zijn ze niet helemaal geweldig. Nogmaals dank je wel Marja en Hans.

My brother-in-law abnd sister-in-law where on holiday on the day I celebrated my birthday, so we planned a nice evening to catch up. Apart from a double wooden winbox and some fleamarket bead finds, she brought me this gear, aren’t they awesome, I absolutely love them!!! Thanks again Marja and Hans.

Spoiled by Marit and Patty

Definetely was my day today because I found awesome, gorgeous mail in my mailbox.

I entered Marit challenge by entering the Quirky Dutch summer about mailart, I send my envelope and matching tag to Marit and she returned it with this gorgeous postcard, below you see the front as well as the back:

And from Patty I received this awesome smelling lavender wand and lots more, the smell entered my nose and my room as soon as I opened the envelope, I really love the smell of lavender.

Oh jee/oh boy

Mijn washi tape houder was amper af of hij zat al vol. Wie van jullie had gedacht dat ik dan maar geen tapejes meer zou kopen hahaha, foutje bedankt. Was laatst met Max samen even in de stad en ja dan kan ik het dus niet laten om bij Antoon de Jong binnen te gaan, en …. zucht dan blijven er toch weer tapejes aan mijn vingers plakken. Ik zal het zelf maar zeggen: ik ben echt erg!! 😮 De dubbele wijnkist kreeg ik van mijn zus. De gave circus zebra komt van The Graphics Fairy.

My previous washi tape holder was hardly finished or it was full already and who of you thought that would be my cue to stop buying washi tapoes hahaha… wrong. Last thursday Max and I decided to go to town, can’t resist to visit Antoon de Jong (a local arts and crafts store) and….. sigh saw the tapes again and I can’t pass by and don’t buy some. Better say it myself: I am really bad!! 😮 The double wine box was a present from my sister. The awesome circus zebra is from The Graphics Fairy.

Kan het niet laten, dus nog maar een gemaakt, kan ik straks mooi op mijn hobbykamer hangen met allemaal briefjes en andere dingen die ik niet moet vergeten of wil kwijtraken. En qua kleur past deze en die andere ook trouwens, mooi bij mijn nieuwe washi tape houder 😮

I coulnd’t resist to make another one, they all will hang at a wall in my art room, great place to store important notes or things that else got lost in the stack. And the colours of this one as well as my first one match perfectly with my new washi tape holder 😮

wijnkistje/wooden wine box

Gisteren even bij Stampinback geweest tijdens de open dagen en daar een wijnkistje meegenomen om te alteren voor mijn washi tapes. En dit is het geworden, moest wel even nadenken hoe ik een systeem kon maken dat de rolletjes er ook nog gemakkelijk eruit kunnen en dat ze mooi op een rijtje hangen, was even zweten maar dan heb je ook wat. Nou Fred, je had gelijk, niet met 50 maar wel meer dan 1 want er kan nog maar 1 rolletje bij en dan is hij vol hahahaha.

Yesterday I visited Stampinback and saw these wooden wine boxes, I wanted for my washi tapes. I did cost me a lot of thought how to make it in a way that it would be easy to handle and also look great and organised. And Fred, no 50 is too much but one is to little hahaha.

muizenval/mouse trap

Ik zag dit op de blog van Chris en dat vond ik zo gaaf dat ik het niet kon laten om het ook uit te proberen, toevallig had ik een muizenvalletje in huis. Heb gekozen voor een hermelijntje, in het frans betekent mijn naam namelijk hermelijn 😮 Hier kwam het idee oorspronkelijk vandaan, er staat ook een tutorial bij.

I saw this on Chris’ blog and I thought it was so awesome I had to try this out myself, and luckely I had a mouse trap in my house. I have chosen this image because in french my name means this cute little animal. HERE is the link to the tutorial of this awesome idea

Deze pagina’s gemaakt naar aanleiding van You Tube filmpjes, het waren er een heleboel en weet dus ook niet meer welke, dit kwam er uit voort. Heb met Dylusions gewerkt, hebben jullie dat nu ook dat je dan je handen niet meer schoon krijgt, of wie heeft een gouden tip 😮

Made these pages after watching several You Tube films, so many that I can’t remember which ones exactly. Worked with Dylusions, do you have the same problem as me, I can’t get my hands clean after working with them, anyone with THE solution 😮

Deze pagina lag al een weekje  te wachten om afgemaakt te worden, had een opgezet gemaakt voor mijn demo tijdens de Mixed Media Diva dag op 2 juni, en nu ik toch de kaft onderhanden had genomen ook maar besloten om deze pagina af te maken.

This page was laying around to be finished, I made it partially for a demo at the Mixed Media Diva day on jun  2nd, and while I altered the cover I discoverd I didn;lt finish this one.
