Leuk thema op Sosalsa:  zakje. Ik had een kadolabel nodig voor een mannenkado, vindt dat zelf altijd erg lastig. Awesome theme on Sosalsa: pocket. I needed a tag for a present for a man, always find that hard to do.

Uitdaging 2008 – WINNAAR!!!!/Challenge 2008 – WINNER!!!!

Vandaag is de dag…. een winaar wordt getrokken uit deze kom vol met namen. Today is the day…. a winner will be drawn out of the bowl full of names.

Aan Max de eer om een naam te graaien uit de pot. Wat hij geweldig vond om te doen. De pot staat er al dagen en steeds werden er nog nieuwe briefjes bijgegooid. Hij kon bijna niet wachten tot het zover was. Max did me to honour of drawing the name. Something he found awesome to do. This bowl stood there for days already, every time adding some new notes. He almost couldn’t wait.

En in geval je op de vorige foto de naam niet helemaal kunt lezen, hier nog een keer. DE WINNAAR is HERMA!!!!!! gefeliciteerd Herma, de prijs komt zo snel mogelijk naar je toe. And in case you can’t read the name on the previous photo.THE WINNER IS HERMA !!!!!. Congratulations Herma, I will send you your prize asap.

Layers of Color: metal

 

Een tijdje terug had ik deze tagmaker al gekocht en laatst op de Knotsgekke kaartendagen nog wat extra vormen bij gekocht, waaronder deze rechthoek. Dit is zo’n leuk apparaatje om mee te werken. De vormen zij er alleen in het zilver dus heb ik deze gekleurd met wat alcoholinkt. Dit is dus mijn bijdrage voor Layers of Color: metal. Op de achtergrond heb ik 2 stempels gebruikt, de bovenste is van Layers of Color Architectural Blocks en onderin een gedeelte van een Magenta stempel. A while ago i bought this tagmaker and on an event some extra metal tags, this rectangle, it comes is various sizes and shapes. Such a great machine to work with and so easy. The metal is only in silver so I coloured this one with alcohol inks. So I made this one to enter the Layers of Color challenge: metal. On the background I used on top the Layers of Color Architectural blocks stamp and at the bottom a part of a Magenta Stamp.

Tip in spread for keron

 

Ik doe mee aan een tip-in spread en heb deze gemaakt voor Keron. Als volgt gemaakt, ik heb een rechthoek gemaskerd op elke bladzijde, daar binnenin gesponst met een paar kleuren Adirondack, en met Staonz wat natuur dingen gestempeld. Hierna op een stuk vellum ook wat dieren gestempeld en dit aan de bovenkant vatsgezet zodat je er nog steeds onderdoor kan kijken. De achtergrond is scrapbook papier. I am in a Tip-in swap and made this one for Keron. I masked off some rectangle areas on each side, then sponged with some colours Adirondack, and stmped nature things with Stazon Black. Then took a piece of vellum, the same size as the rectangle and stamped the animals on it. Only glued at the top, so you can lift the vellum and still see what is underneath. The background is a piece of scrapbook paper.

Wednesday Stamper: circles

 

Hier mjin bijdrage voor Wednesday Stamper: circles. Er is weinig op gestempeld alleen de marmer-aders aan weerszijden van de vrouw Here my entry for Wednesday Stamper: circles. There isn’t a lot of staming on this one, only the vaines on both sides of the lady.

En om de vraag te beantwoorden wat ik gebruik om cirkels te maken, ik bewaar allerlei dopjes en dekseltjes van o.a. pritt stiften, verrassingseieren, snoepgoed, doosjes waarin eyelets of splitpennetjes zaten, alles wat rond is en wat een mooi dun randje heeft, om er vervolgens mee te “stempelen” met gesso maar ook acrylverf of inkt doen het erg goed. And to answer Belinda’s question on what I use to make circles I collect al kinds of things, like caps rfom glue sticks, surprise eggs (don’t know if you are familiar with it but overhere we have chocolate eggs which contain a little egg with a toy), candy things, lid from container used for brads ans eyelets and so on. Everything which is round and has a beautiful thin edge. So I can “stamp” with them with for instance gesso but acryllic paints or inks work out well either.
