Nu hebben we 12 pagina’s voor de swap met Margreet en mij en was het tijd om de kaft te maken. Heb dus de ATC verwerkt op de voorkant van het boekje en aangezien ik iedere pagina moest maken beginnend met de letter M vond ik het wel leuk om dat voor de voorkant ook te gebruiken. We already did 12 pages, which means a whole year because we did a page as month, and now it was time to decorate the cover and I used this ATC for it because it also starts with the letter M, which is the theme for the whole booklet.

Mixed Media Monday: personal symbols/myths

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Mixed Media Monday:   personal symbols/myths . Heb altijd iets gehad met de kleuren van de herfst, de prachtige bladeren die een nieuw seizoen aankondigen, maar dat zo kleurrijk doen dat ik zelfs het slechte weer op de koop toeneem.  Heb deze kaart gemaakt voor A Capella. Heidi van A Capella was onze reddende engel wat betreft het sequin scrap op het Art Specially event (sequin waste ofwel punchinella, allemaal verschillende namen voor hetzelfde materiaal en in Duitsland heet het dus lochband), en nu heeft ze een geweldige voorraad op de kop weten tikken, de gaten in allemaal verschillende maten van klein tot groot, helemaal geweldig dus.

I have always been in love with the colours of autumn, the leaves that change colours and this way saying there is another season coming, and they do that so absolutely colourful and gorgeous that it even beats the bad weather that comes with it. I made this sample for A Capella, because Heidi of A Cappela saved our day at the event by providing us with the sequin waste, something that was hard to get overhere, we did have the smaller holes but not the large ones and now she has been able to get hold of a bunch of this great material in all different sizes.

Gisteren een link naar een tutorial op Deze is ook Leuk neergezet, klik hier voor de tutorial, deze is niet door mij gemaakt, maar vond het er zo gaaf uitzien dat ik het even moest proberen. De bovenste foto is dus mijn eerste poging, bij de tweede vroeg ik me af hoe het resultaat eruit zou zien als je er iets tussen zou leggen, zoals bijvoorbeeld een fiber, dit is leuk!!!! Heb hem nog wit gelaten maar wil er nog een kleurtje aan gaan geven zodra ik weet waarvoor ik het ga gebruiken.

The top photo is my first attempt, after doing that I was so enthousiastic that I wanted to try out how it looks when you put a fiber between the plastic, this is so cool!!!! I left the base white at the moment, will colour it as soon as I know what I want to do with it.

Crazy Amigo’s: zee en strand

Gisteren deze pagina gemaakt voor mijn swap met Margreet, elkthema dient te beginnen met de letter M. Het is alweer de 12de pagina, wat betekent dat we alweer een jaar bezig zijn, waar blijft de tijd. Hij past perfect binnen het thema van de Crazy Amigo’s: zee en strand.

Yesterday I made this page for my swap with Margreet, everye theme has to start with the letter M. Already page 12, which means a year has gone by, how time flies. And it fits perfectly within the theme of the Crazy Amigo’s: sea and beach.

Art Creations Friday: challenge 75

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Art Creations Friday: challenge 75. Had deze achtergrond vorige week al gemaakt, wilde even kijken of het met navulinkten van Adirondack ook ging, gaat prima maar toen wist ik niet hoe verder te gaan, laat nu dit plaatje van Femmy precies dezelfde kleuren hebben. Here my entry for Art Creations Friday: challenge  75. I made this background last week already,  I was splashing and wanted to try out how it works with Adirondack dy inks refills, I liked it but then I was stuck, untill the image from Femmy was there, because it had exactly the same colours.

Mixed Media Monday: child’s play

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Mixed Media Monday: child’s play. ik weet nog goed dat ik als kind altijd zat te tekenen, niet dat ik daar goed in was, maar vond het helemaal geweldig om te doen, dus weer even terug in de tijd en zitten tekenen, nog steeds geen talent, zal ook nooit komen, maar was wel leuk om te doen :o)

Here my entry for Mixed Media Monday: child’s play. I remember me as a little girl always drawing, not that I was good at it, but I really like doing it. So I went back in time and tried to make a drawing, still no talent, but I was having as much fun as I did back then.

Ondanks dat het weer meer op herfst lijkt dan op lente zegt de natuur dat het toch echt lente is, en wat zie je toch veel mooie dingen als je zomaar een eindje rondfietst.

In spite of the fact that it more looks like autumn then it looks like spring, nature has its own way to show its really spring. When you cycle around a bit you see such gorgeous things.

Deze kaart gemaakt voor de eerste challenge van Stampartic: distress inkten. Deze gemaakt met de nieuwste kleuren distress navulinkt en het spin and splash apparaat. De stempel van het blad met het gezichtje erin is van A Capella.
