En nog een

Heb een heel vel vol gelegd met mijn nieuwe dies zodat ik in een keer een voorraadje heb, en kan zien hoe ze in werkelijkheid snijden. Nog maar weer eentje gemaakt, gewoon omdat ik het niet kon laten. Het vaasje bloemen is van De Action, de tekst van ArtSpecially en de dies van CraftEmotions.

I put all my new dies on one sheet of paper to cut them all out at once to see what I bought and how well they cut. I can say all works well :o. Made another one, just because I like to play. The flowervase is a stamp from Action, the text from ARTSpecially and the dies from CraftEmotions.

Hortensia

Nog even zitten spelen met mijn nieuwe dies, eerst de hortensia gestempeld met ZIG en de precision press. Daarna de tekst met Stazon en de spatters met acryl verf. Nadat ik hem op de kaart geplakt had heb ik de die-cuts opgeplakt.

Just playing around with my new dies. First I stamped the hydrangea with ZIG markers and the precision press. After that I stamped the text with Stazon and the splatters with black acryllic paint. After glueing the smaller inner card on a double rectangle card I glueed the die cuts on it.

nieuwe aanwinst

Op het ARTSpecially event kreeg ik dit doosje met lekkers erin van Riitta, het lekkers is natuurlijk al lang op maar de uitdaging om iets met het doosje te doen liet even op zich wachten. Totdat ik zaterdag naar de Knotsgekke kaartendagen ging en daar deze die-set kocht. Moest hem natuurlijk uitproberen. Het werkt perfect voor de laser-cuts figuurtjes die ik bij de Action kocht. De tekststempel is van Kaisercraft.

At the ARTSpecially event I got a gift from Riitta with yummie stuff inside, ofcourse that is all gone. And I was left with the challenge to make something awesome with the box. It took me a while but after visiting De Knotsgekke Kaartendagen last saterday, where I bought this die-set I coulnd;t resist and had to play with it. Now I have an awesome box to hold my laser cuts. The text stamp is from Kaisercraft.

knotsgekke kaartendagen

Gisteren heerlijk met Jeanette samen naar de Knotsgekke kaarten en scrapdagen in Den Bosch geweest. Even aangeschoven om even te spelen met Colorburst, geef mij pigmentpoeders en water en ik ben helemaal in mijn element. Deze poeders zitten wel in super cute flesjes. Gewerkt met een stencil en het positief en negatief gebruikt. Bijna geen stempels, op iedere kaart een tekst en dat was het. Toch nog even gekleurde vingertjes gekregen. EN ik heb mezelf gekieteld en mijzelf getracteerd op deze supergave Santoro scrapkoffer, nu kan ik helemaal in stijl op stap.

nog meer sparkles

Kon het niet laten om nog even te spelen met de sparkle pens. Wat een prachtige glans. En net zoals in mijn vorige bericht heb ik in plaats van met acryl verf te spetteren, gespetterd met de sparkle pens en natuurlijk ook gekleurd met de pens en Precision Press.. Alle stempels zijn van Sheena Douglass.

Couldn’t resist to make another one with the sparkle pens. Like the one I did in my previous post, instead of splattering with acryllic paint, as I do usually, I splattered with the sparkle pens itself and of the colouring is done with the sparkle pens as well using the Precision Press. All stamps are from Sheena Douglass.

gewerkt met sparkle pens

Hier heb ik gewerkt met de sparkle brush pens van Spectrum Noir tezamen met de Precision Press. Het is heel lastig om de glimmer in de kleuren te vangen met het fototoestel, maar heb toch een poging gedaan om te laten zien dat in het echt een mooie subtiele glitterlaag te zien is. Stempels zijn van Sheena Douglass.

Worked swith the sparkle brush markers from Spectrum Noir in the Precision Press. Its very hard to catch to sparkle with my camera, but I did try to show the beautiful subtile sparkle in uit. Stamps are from Sheena Douglass.

Dit voorbeeld gemaakt voor The Stamping Cottage met de pigment markers van Winsor en Newton. De tekststempel is van The Stamping Cottage, uitgebracht onlangs op het event en de vlinder van Viva Las VegaStamps.

Made this sample for The Stamping Cottage ( a awesome dutch store) and used pigment markers from Winsor and Newton for colouring. The text stamp is from The Stamping Cottage, the butterfly from Viva Las VegaStamps.

Nog helemaal in de ban van het event

Deze kaart gemaakt als een variatie op de techniek die Corrie en ik hadden voor onze workshop op het ARTSpecially event van afgelopen weekend. Ben begonnen zoals op de workshop door met versamark en clear embossingpoeder de tekst Fijne Dag (van TheStamping Cottage) te stempelen. Daarna met de precision press en ZIG markers de ijsvogel (van Sheena Douglass) gekleurd te stempelen, dit gemaskerd, dit was dus de varatie van de workshop. Vervolgens de onderkant weer rondjes gezet met een tool en diverse kleuren distress inkt. Vervolgens de swirls (van Sheena Douglass) gestempeld met Versamark en clear embossingpoeder en het geheel gesponst met distress Black Soot. Met een stencil wat wolkjes aan de bovenkant en daarna gespetterd.

Made this card with the technique Corrie and me used at our workshop at the ARTSpecially event last weekend, but with a liitle varation. Started like at the workshop by stamping the text Fijne dag (stamp is from The Stamping Cottage) with Versamark and clear embossing powder. Then my varation I used the precision press and ZIG markers to stamp the Kingfisher (stamp from Sheena Douglass). Masked it and used a tool with sponges to make circles with several colours of distress ink. Stamped the swirls (stamp from Sheena Douglass) with Versamark and clear embossing powder. And finished it with sponging distress black soot over the card, used a stencil for the top half. Did some splatters with white and black acryllic paint.

En toen was het alweer voorbij ;o(

Ik zit hier en kan maar niet geloven dat het beste feestje van het jaar het ArtSpecially event alweer voorbij is. Ze zeggen altijd dat de tijd vliegt als je lol hebt, nou deze keer ging het met raket snelheid. Maar wat heb ik genoten. Deze tag gemaakt met stempels die een hoop van jullie zullen herkennen. Ik hoop dat iedereen die geweest is net zo genoten heeft als ik, maar aan de foto’s op facebook te zien, hoop ik het niet alleen maar weet ik het ook.

I can’t believe it is already over, the best party of the year The Art Specially event. They are alwats saying time flies  when you are having fun, but this time it went with rocket speed. But oh boy, did I have a good time. Made this tag with stamps that some of you will recognize if you went to the event. I hope that all visitors had the same time of their live as I did, but when I look at the photos  on facebook  I not only hoipe but know they did.
