Fun thing to do

Gisteren was ik op de Knotsgekke Kaarten en scrapdagen in Den Bosch en ben aangeschoven bij een van de workshops die er gegeven werden, namelijk het werken met shadowpaint, de kat was al voorgetekend op het canvas omdat dit toch wel een behoorlijk droogtijd heeft, dus het was alleen een kwestie van inkleuren en de zwarte accenten aanbrengen, maar zo leuk om te doen :o) Is hij geinig of wat!!! hij pronkt nu in ieder geval in mijn kleinste kamertje.

Yesterday I visited an event in a town nearby and decided to do a workshop: working with shadowpaint. The cat was already drawn on the canvas because the workshop would take to much time while drying, so the credits for this cute cat aren’t mine,  all I had to do was to colour it in and do the black accents, but it was so much fun to do :o) Isn’t he cute or what!!!

Triple fun

3-voudig plezier !!!! Allereerst hebben we genoten van de afgelopen vakantie waar we deze blikjes hebben genuttigd, vervolgens heb ik veel plezier beleefd aan het maken van dit vakantie foto-album en vandaag heb ik ook nog eens met dit album de vakantie-uitdaging op de Mixed Media Diva groep gewonnen. En dit is ook mijn bijdrage voor Simon Says, het thema is alles mag  behalve een kaart. 

Triple fun!!!! First we have enjoyed our vacation, consumed these cans while have fun, then I had so much fun making this vacation photo-album with them and last but not least I have won the vacation challenge at the Mixed Media Diva group with this booklet. And this will also be my entry for Simon Says, the theme is ecerthing except a card.

Saterdays Workout: make a journal page

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Saterdays Workout: maak een journal pagina. Aangezien we nog geen nieuwe letter hebben gehad, heb ik besloten om de openingspagina te maken. Allereerst de pagina bewerkt met gesso, toen met de Slice 3 1/2″ cijfers uitgesneden en die gebruikt als maskers, de gehele pagina gesponst met groene acrylverf (groen is mij favoriete kleur) en heb accenten aangebracht rondom de cijfers met pastelpotlood, daarna een transfer gebruikt van dit prachtige meisje (kreeg ik toegestuurd van Marina, nogmaals dank je wel Marina), weet niet precies hoe ik haar blik moet omschrijven, maar juist daarom past ze zo goed in het thema van mijn journal: gevoelens en emoties.

Here my entry for Saterdays Workout: make a journal page. Because we didnlt have had a new letter to work with I decided to make the openingspage. First I put some gesso on the entire page, then I cut out some   3 1/2″ numbers with the Slice and used them as masks, then sponged green acrylpaint all over the page (green is my favorite colour) and make some accents around the numbers with pastel pencils, removes the numbers and then made a transfer out of this gorgeous image (send to me by Marina, again thanks you Marina) . Don’t know how to descibe the look she has but then again that fits perfectly within my theme: feelings (= gevoelens)  and emotions (=emoties).

Saterdays Workout: texture paint

Hier mijn bijdrage voor Saterdays Workout: texture paint. Ik heb een dessin roller gebruikt om de texture te maken en zie hier het resultaat. Weet nog niet wat ik er verder mee ga doen, misschien een transfer erop om de structuur te behouden. Here my entry for Saterdays Workout: texture paint. I have used a design brayer to make the texture and this is the result. I am not sure how I am going to finish this off, probably with a transfer so I will keep the texture.

Another disintegration project

Ik had zoveel plezier in het desintegratie project van Seth, dat ik een nieuwe op heb gehangen en nu maar hopen dat er lekker veel roest. Waarschijnlijk komt er nog meer aan te hangen zodra ik wat leuks zie wat er mooi bij past. I had so much fun with the disintegration project from Seth that I decided to make a new bundle and now I am hoping for lots of rust. Probably will be adding to it when I come along awesome stuff  to fit the rest.
