Na mijn hart wilde ik er ook een met tekst. Heb alleen een stomme fout gemaakt en dat was dat ik een ringband gekozen had, in de winkel leek dat wel leuk, in de praktijk maakt het dat het boek te ver open kan, dom dom dom. Ook ben ik niet zo tevreden met de O, want het papier is te dik dus je kunt niet zo mooi gelijkmatig een ronding maken. Ik heb dit in gebruik om uitspraken, gezegdes en mooie spreuken in op te schrijven, om zo een mooie verzamelingen teksten te krijgen die ik voor diverse gelegenheden zou kunnen gebruiken. After the heart I made for Viva las VegaStamps I wanted one with letters. Only I made a big mistake because this notebook looked awesome in the store, but the spine is not suitable for this technique. I use it to collect all kinds of sayings and quotes. Also I am not so happy with the O,. because of the paper is so thick it is impossible to make subtile circle. The tekst stamps are from ARTSpecially.

Yupo met alcoholinkt

Toch ook maar even geprobeerd om met alcoholinkt te spelen op Yupo papier, helaas heb ik nog maar kleine beetjes van weinig kleuren die ook nog vrij donker zijn, maar wel heel gaaf om te doen, dus moet toch echt weer wat kleurtjes aan gaan schaffen 😮

Played around with alcohol inks on Yupo paper, in my previous post I used the Yupo already with distress refill because I am almost out of alcohol inks, I still had a few colours left but they are a bit dark, awesome to do, so the alcohol inks go on my wish list again 😮

Gespeeld en mijn tweede bijdrage voor de Stamping Cottage uitdaging

Vandaag kwam Natasja weer lekker hier om te hobbyen. Ik had Yupo papier in huis, maar helaas geen alcoholinkt meer, bedacht dat we dat dan wel even met distress inkt zouden kunnen doen, nou dat werkte niet helemaal zoals gepland, dus ik ging heatsetten en wat denk je: hij gaat krimpen een beetje vergelijkbaar met tyvek, altijd leuk om een andere manier met eenzelfde materiaal te doen. Ziet het er niet gaaf uit en hij kan mooi meedoen met de uitdaging bij Stamping Cottage omdat de achtergrond het papier is waar ik in eerste instantie de nog natte versie van het Yupo papier op had gelegd, en aangekleed met een prachtige bloem. De voorste is van mij, de achterste van Natasja. Op de blog van Natasja zie je straks haar versie op de voorgrond.

Natasja came over to play together and we decided to play with Yupo paper, I didn;t have alcohol inks anymore so I used distress refills, but it didnlt dry and look what happened when I used the heat tool, doesn’t this look awesome. And it fits perfectly within the theme of the challenge of The Stamping  Cottage. The one in the front is mine, the one at the back is from Natasja. In a while Natasja will put a photo on her blog with heres in front. Isnn’t it awesome if you can use the same material in two ways.

Montly challenge Viva las VegaStamps

De maandelijkse challenge bij Viva Las VegaStamps is terug, deze keer een mood bord. Het is de bedoeling dat je een of meer dingen uit het mood bord gebruikt voor je project, dat kan zijn de kleuren, de stempels, de steken, de rozen, wat je maar leuk vind. Ik heb meerdere dingen gekozen: 1 van de 2 kleuren, de klok en de (faux) steken. Voor meer informatie en spelregels kun je HIER kijken.

The monthly challenge at Viva las VegaStamps is back, this time its a mood board. You are welcome draw inspiration from any portion of the board, as well as create any type of project. Cards, layouts, tags, altered bits n bobs. Draw inspiration from the roses, the ribbon, the stitching, the images, the colors.
